St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School understands the importance of Physical Education, supporting the health and well-being of our children and the positive influence it can have.

The Government is providing a sum of money each year to all schools to help them develop sports provision within school to increase participation in sports activities.

This additional funding will help us to extend our provision through the employment of staff to help support this aim to deliver quality P.E. for the needs of our children.

P.E. and Sports Premium

68% (20 out of 30 children) can swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres.

70% (21 out of 30 children) can use a range of strokes effectively.

70% (21 out of 30 children) can perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.
